The Clear Windscreen was developed to solve the problem of having wind and gusts entering the cockpit, while affording a clear view of the road behind you. It works by blocking the wind and controlling the amount of air that enters the cockpit from the back.

The Clear Windscreen (CWS) attaches to your factory roll hoops in minutes. It's very easy to install and remove. It literally disappears in your rear view mirror! It also provides a reflective surface for enhanced audio sound and reduces noise from the rear.

The CWS is made of a cast clear acrylic material (Plexiglas / Lucite) which is 30 times more impact resistant than glass. 4 straps, with sewn on Velcro closures, wrap around your roll hoops insuring a solid mount. It won't interfere with your top operation. It is a custom fit for your SLK. It will follow the contour of the factory roll hoops perfectly and not look like an added piece of plastic. When in place, it literally disappears from view. It was designed to remain in place with the top up or down so there is no need to remove it other than for periodic cleaning.

When it's too hot - cool off by putting up your windows while the top is down and turn on the air conditioner in recirc mode. The Clear windscreen will keep the cooled air in the cockpit and you will feel the comfort. In the winter time, turn on the the heater and enjoy the warmth that stays in the cabin thanks to the Clear Windscreen. Finally driving with the top down won't be like sitting in a tornado!
